Pasture Update

The pasture is in great shape and it seems that the hottest of our summer days may be behind us. I have to confess, that I haven't been out at the pasture much this year, but will be out there quite a bit this fall. The camp outs for this fall are scheduled for a couple of weekends; September 30th - October 2nd and October 14th - 16th. Once the weather cools a bit, I'll most likely be camping every weekend, but that's just me . . .

In other news: Congratulations to our own Dos Coyotes for lining up at the Gravel Worlds in Lincoln this weekend. Full results can be found over at the home of the PCL.

And now for a few pics . . . the riding was so good and my camera so crappy that the pics leave something to be desired.

CQ still coming down Potter's Perfection.

Something was happening here, don't remember what.

Get out there, folks and have some good pasteurizing.

The Pasture looks awesome and I'm hoping to get out there the weekend of Oct 22 with a couple buddies from Omaha. I drove past in July in route to Colorado, but it was too damn hot to stop! I will have my new Waltworks hardtail in a couple weeks and would love to test it at the Pasture! Where is a good place to set up camp and any trails you would recommend I don't miss?

Sounds like the perfect time to visit. Old Camp is great of you don't need water. Maybe I can bring out my Waltworks to ride with you. Chad may chime in with good trails, but you can't miss the new Reapers Ridge section, Horse Shoe Canyon, or Hornitos.

Thanks Llama, would be fun to ride with a local. I'm itching to get that Waltworks!! How long have you had yours?

I've had mine for about a year. I use it for gravel mostly, but it rips on singletrack too. I had him build it fairly slack with a short rear end ... love it. We're happy to ride with visitors as much as we can.

I will be ready to rip some trails with visitors any time !! I really dig the loop I've been riding lately. It gives you the best sampling of what Potters has. It includes:Rip off,Reapers Ridge,Crack a lack,Pepe' Lopez,High line north, either Nugget or Bulldozer Rd. ,Horseshoe Cnyns,Freeway to Potters Perfection(Dam Climb),Potters Perfection ,The Desert,Test Loop Climb,Upper Hornitos,Team Trail,Freeway back to Church Grove,High Line,Brians way finishing with Ceder Ridge above old camp.

I really want to make it out there. My plans have been getting thwarted lately, so I will know more once october gets closer. Thanks again for the info!

That sounds like a good loop Chad, dont forget Golden Nugget loop at the bottom of Nugget. When you come out of Horse Shoe Canyon you can go straight acrross freeway to the new Wicked Ridge trail, we"ll have the extra 60ft of plank bridge installed by then. up to Trail Ridge down to Sweetness and that dropes you out at the bottom of Potters Peerfection. Then finish the rest of your ride. You might need an extra beer or two at camp when your done. If I'm home I'll be there, sounds like fun!
